The congress venue (building 551 on the map) consisting of Hörsaal A (lectures) and the Glass Pavillion (poster walk) is coveniently located in the heart of Haidhausen, one of Munich‘s most beautiful areas.

Airport to the University Hospital TU Munich „Klinikum rechts der Isar“
The airport “Franz Josef Strauss” is about 30km from the city center. To go from the airport to the “Klinikum rechts der Isar” via public transport please take the S8 (direction Munich) and get off the train at the stop Ostbahnhof. Change to the subway U5 (direction Laimer Platz) and get off the subway at Max-Weber Platz station. Follow the MRI signs and you will arrive at the Ismaninger Straße where the main entrance of the “Klinikum rechts der Isar” is located.
There is also a taxi service available which will cost about 50 Euros and takes 45 min from the airport to the “Klinikum rechts der Isar”.
Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to “Klinikum rechts der Isar”
After your arrival at Munich central station take the U4 or U5 subway lines (directions U4 Arabellapark or U5 Neuperlach) and get off the train at the Max-Weber Platz stop. Follow the MRI signs and you will arrive at the Ismaninger Straße where the main entrance of the “Klinikum rechts der Isar” is located.
Arrival by car
If you arrive by car please note that there are two parking lots at the “Klinikum rechts der Isar”.
Free of charge short-term parking is located at the beginning of the Einsteinstraße and the Ismaninger Straße.
Furthermore there is long-term parking space available (first hour free of charge, after that 2.50 euro/hour) located at the beginning of the Trogerstraße. |
